ST. LOUIS - To reduce congestion during the upcoming Labor Day holiday, the Missouri Department of Transportation is restricting work on interstates and state highways. Work on all MoDOT construction projects, except the reconstruction of I-64, will stop at noon Friday, Aug. 31, 2007. Work on the I-64 reconstruction will stop by 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2007. Traffic may still be restricted in areas where there are permanent barriers, such as the lane reductions on I-170 near Olive Boulevard. Additionally, currently closed ramps and roads will remain closed.
Work on construction projects will resume starting at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 4.
