Happy Birthday America. I find it amazing that for such a young country we have come so far. As I get older a couple hundred years isn’t such a long time yet we are still the attraction for the World’s immigrants. You find one success story after another and all are grateful to be living in such a great country. How often do you hear of an American immigrating to another country because of oppression or to seek better opportunities?

Yes America has its struggles, its conflicts, its prejudices, but as a country we are an adolescent. We continue to grow, learn and better ourselves in the face of those who would like to destroy our way of life. We are the leader of the World and as such we should continue to set an example for the World.

We have the opportunity to choose our leaders. We have countless brave young men and women who are willing to fight and die for our freedoms. We have the most beautiful lands, the greatest opportunities, the determination to persist, and we also have the freedom to stand up and say what we believe.

So I say “Happy Birthday America, Stand tall and be Proud”
